San Francisco to the Half Moon Bay: Easy access from San Francisco to the Half Moon Bay Coastside became a reality with the recent opening of the Devil’s Slide Tunnel. Opening to much fanfare, this $439 million tunnel project will bypass a treacherous 1.2-mile stretch of California’s famous Pacific Coast Highway known as Devil’s Slide, making the 35 minute drive from San Francisco to the Half Moon Bay Coastside much easier and safer.
