We feel strongly that a cruise on one of the mega-liners that sails straight for Manaus from the Atlantic is not a trip that the real adventure traveler would want to take. Nor would a few days at one of the jungle camps outside Iquitos or Manaus really give the visitor a true insight in the way that a cruise on the Polaris does.
